The APC Scholarship
The APC Scholarship is available to Wrangell and Sitka High School seniors who plan to pursue post-secondary education. Selection is based on outstanding academic achievement and/or special talent. Only seniors who plan to pursue post-secondary education are eligible. Funds for the Sasayama Scholarship were donated to the APC Scholarship Fund by Mr. George Ishiyama from the Ishiyama Foundation. George Ishiyama was the President of Alaska Pulp Corporation from 1983 until he passed away in 2003 at the age of 88.
